Increasingly Fine, Settled and Warm

Saturday
Into Saturday and its a fine start to the day for many with just some local mist and fog patches, but these soon clearing. As the day progresses and many areas will enjoy plenty of dry weather with bright or sunny spells, these perhaps more prolonged across England and Wales and in light winds it will be a warm afternoon. Later in the afternoon and thicker cloud, along with a stregnthening SW'ly wind may herald the arrival of some patchy rain or showers to NW Scotland. Highs 14C to 21C.


Saturday Night
Some patchy rain or showers are possible at first across northern and north-western areas of Scotand but this clearing. Many areas of the British Isles will have a pleasant Saturday evening and with all areas dry overnight with clear spells, variable cloud and light and variable winds with some local mist and fog possible. Lows 4C to 9C.
 


Sunday
Into Sunday and, again, many areas start dry with bright or sunny spells and with just local mist and fog patches. For much of the British Isles another warm or locally very warm day is predicted with bright or sunny spells, again perhaps prolonged across England and Wales. A renewed risk of some patchy rain or showers may arrive later across NW Scotland. Highs 14C to 21C and a high UV index too.


Monday
Into Bank Holiday Monday and not a great deal of change is expected with the fine and settled spell of weather set to continue across many areas. Bright or sunny spells are again predicted these prolonged at times across England and Wales with high UV index as well. Some patchy rain or showers remain possible across NW Scotland but this the exception to the rule with many areas having a very pleasant holiday Monday. Highs 16C to 23C.
